Mr. Tony Garcia, CPP, is the Founder of the Arizona Security Group (ASG). He has over 30 years of security industry experience encompassing a variety of state and local governments, Fortune 500 companies, and contract security. Mr. Garcia proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps, following up with 15 years as a volunteer with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office. While studying at the University of Phoenix, Mr Garcia earned a B.S. in Management. At ASG, he continues to serve the community by passing along the vast knowledge gained through a lifetime of hard work and dedication.
Mike started his USMC career not only in the traditional role, but also, as an instructor, advisor and planner for over 10 years, focusing on urban warfare and physical security. Today Mike continues to put these skills to use in administering the firm and educating our students.
ASG maintains an Arizona Department of Public Safety security guard agency license. We choose to take this step to make it easier to sponsor unarmed and armed guards in obtaining their individual guard cards, helping our students find employment quickly after the completion of training.
While we maintain an agency license, ASG does not engage in or offer security guard and patrol services. This ensures there is no competition with our clients and allows us to provide the best possible level of service we can. We are a training organization here to assist students in obtaining the vital skills they need to start and maintain a career in the security industry.
