Concealed Carry Training Course

Arizona law allows responsible citizens to carry concealed weapons—but doing so safely, legally, and confidently requires more than just a permit. Our Arizona CCW class equips you with the knowledge, mindset, and legal understanding to carry responsibly and apply for your Arizona CCW permit through the Department of Public Safety (DPS).

CCW Certification Course

  • For: Qualified Adults 21 and older

Curriculum

  • Arizona laws related to concealed carry and use of force
  • Legal definitions of justifiable self-defense and deadly force

  • How to interact with law enforcement during and after a self-defense incident
  • How to properly plan for the legal aftermath of a defensive encounter

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive all necessary documentation to apply for their Multi-State CCW permit through the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS). The class includes fingerprinting services as required.

Arizona/Multi-State CCW Permit Requirements

To qualify for a CCW certification, students must meet the following requirements set by Arizona DPS:

  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Resident
  • Submit to a criminal background check
  • Have no felony convictions
  • Not be a prohibited possessor
  • Have no domestic violence convictions
  • Not be a substance abuser
